Ryan McGaughey, MD
Partner
Dr. McGaughey is ABMS board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. A graduate of the University of Alabama - University Honors Program, he returned to Tennessee to attend the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He completed a residency in Anesthesiology and a fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he was chosen to serve as a Chief Resident and co-chaired the Chief Resident Council. Following his training, he entered private practice in Memphis before returning to Mississippi to partner with Dr. Douglas Tucker to grow a medical practice that now provides comprehensive pain management care to patients across the state.
Rex Williams, MD
Partner
Pain Medicine specialist with over 19 years of experience in chronic pain management. He completed medical school at the University of Mississippi in 2001. He later moved to Gainesville, Florida where he completed his anesthesia residency in 2005 and his Pain Management fellowship in 2006. He then moved back to Mississippi. He followed along in his Father’s footsteps in becoming a pain management physician. Dr. Williams serves as Medical Director for Mississippi Pain Institute of Oxford. Dr. Rex is always training in new interventional techniques to treat his patients. Rex enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and their five children.

Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed by the State of Mississippi. In addition to her extensive clinical experience in internal medicine and pain management, she has earned her master's degree in nursing from the University of Alabama-Birmingham and holds a bachelor's degree in nursing from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS. She especially enjoys the opportunity to treat patients in her hometown of Oxford, MS and the surrounding communities and believes in building long-lasting, trusting relationships with her patients. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with family, riding horses, cooking, reading, and traveling.
Amanda Bagwell
FNP-C
After receiving her ADN from Itawamba Community College in 2016 , she went on to receive her BSN from Mississippi University for Women. Amanda then went on to receive her Master's of Science in nursing from the University of North Alabama in 2021. Amanda’s nursing background comes with experience in surgical intensive care. She has been treating patients in pain management for over 3 years. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandbaby. Amanda enjoys baking and traveling in her spare time.
Stacy Thomas
MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC
A board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 13 years of experience. She offers integrated, patient-centered care addressing both physical and mental health for individuals and families. Stacy earned her MSN from Delta State University in 2012 and added her PMHNP certification from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2022. Her clinical expertise spans primary care, mental health, and chronic disease management, with a focus on holistic, evidence-based treatment across the lifespan.
June Kimbrough

June Kimbrough was born and raised in Hattiesburg, MS. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Southern Mississippi and later obtained her Master of Science in Nursing at Delta State University. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has been practicing in the field of Chronic Pain Management since 2009 and is knowledgeable and experienced in treating a wide variety of chronic pain conditions. She has two children and currently lives in Jackson, MS with her husband.
Steven Namanny, MBA

Steven has broad international experience in operations and policy. He managed apparel production in Lima, Peru. In Roatan, Honduras, he built government interfacing for a special economic jurisdiction. He holds an MBA from Millsaps College. There, he earned the Charles Sewell Outstanding MBA Student honor. He also completed a certification in business analytics. At MPI, Steven oversees general business operations and growth strategy. He plays a key role in executing the company's vision roadmap. His work includes developing scalable business startups. These ventures aim to solve widespread problems with high-impact solutions in the medical industry.
